Image via Wikipedia I’m going to let you in on a little secret of mine. I’m horrible at reading text - especially on a screen. I scan instead of really reading an entire sales page, article, or even a blog post.
You might wonder how this relates to SEO.
Well, like most online marketers, I write a lot of articles. I often think a heck of a lot faster than I type and quite often the first draft of an article, blog post, or book I write reads horribly.
Since I don’t have the patience to re-read everything, I found a solution that helps me do just that. It’s a program called TextAloud and it has been my saving grace when it comes to writing. Instead of jotting down a quick draft and then posting it to an article directory or blog, I first run it through the TextAloud program to listen to how it sounds.
Oftentimes, I’ll find that I’ve missed a word or two or that it just doesn’t flow like I expected it to. TextAloud allows me to find my mistakes, fix them, and then post a great blog post or article.
I highly suggest it to those of you who have little patience to sit and read text; especially when it’s on a screen.
The video below shows you how it works. (If you can’t see the video, it is still processing at YouTube. It literally was JUST uploaded.)
Here’s where to get the program.
